| Atheism is a religion in and unto itself. It is a belief that there is no intelligent design, no deity. A branch of atheism is secular humanism. Athiests as a religion practice a great deal of hedonism. since there is no higher poswer to answer to, since there is only this life and nothing beyond, since there is no accountability, they feel that they can do whatever they want in life, living it to its fullest.
Agnostics do believe in a higher power, they are just unwilling to try to put a name of face to deity. At least this applies to the agnostics I have known. | |
