Starlight, Starbright Empty
PostSubject: Starlight, Starbright   Starlight, Starbright I_icon_minitimeTue Mar 17, 2009 3:44 am

Had to do a song for english class... ended up with a poem

Starlight, Starbright
I wish I may, I wish I might
for you to tell me how stars veiw the earth tonight
Do they see the earth from way up high?
Or the ones who inhabit the blue planet below

Do stars observe from up above?
Or talk amongst eachother, gossiping in tow
From up above in the world so low
We often wonder if stars meant more

Do stars have souls like us mankind?
Or are they simply objects of pure matter
No thought, no life
Do you only manifest a glow?

So many stars, in this galaxy alone
Just how many are there, in the cosmos
People often ponder on this thought alone
Do you experience the same as we?

Do you guys often converse with eachother?
Like us humans on earth?
Have any relatives like us below
Do you guys age with grace?

Which was the oldest one of all?
How many types are there?
Which ones is a favorite among you all?
Why are you such a mystery to us on earth?

Why does your light take so long to travel to here?
Why do we see only a past image in present time?
Are you trying to tell us things in some type of form?
Metaphors, Anamolies, or anything else?

Sorry for all the questions,
I suppose I should rest
hopefully you will answer me
I hope in some form or another.
