Leave Me Again

These feelings I feel
Are too strong to ignore.
I cut myself once,
But then I need more.

I push you away,
Make you bleed.
Show you how I feel.
Show you what I need.

A tiny cut,
The blood rushes through,
A steady flow
A scar so new.

No one understands you,
But I know,
You leave me again,
I don't want you to go.

You hurt me more,
Than this razor I hold,
You walked away,
And left me out in the cold.

You make me afraid
To get close to you
You might leave me againa
And find someone new.

I cut myself again
To make myself feel free
As a tiny drop of blood
Runs down my knee.

The pain is healing
It helps me recover
As you leave me here
And find another.

The scars will fade,
The pain will too.
You WILL hurt me again.
How can I trust you?
